We often hear about improving women’s access to careers where they are typically underrepresented, such as tech. However, less is said about ensuring they can continue to progress to leadership and senior leadership positions. Getting one’s foot in the door is key, but once you’re in – how do you go up?

Our panel will discuss some of the initiatives that have proven to foster opportunities for women, from high-value networking to building specific skills and benefitting from leadership programmes.

MEET OUR SPEAKERS

  • Victoria ARMSTRONG

    COO, FOUNDER, TECH INVESTOR

    A seasoned professional in 7-startups, Victoria is an entrepreneur and passionate leader of people having founded four businesses across health, media and tech (SaaS B2B), and has a proven track record for building and scaling.

    Having worn the COO hat for 15+ years she loves problem solving, has a strong bias for action and accountability towards bold visions, all underpinned by a love of engaging people at all levels.

    Currently Victoria holds roles as an NED, advisor, mentor and investor, and is valued for her broad commercial and strategic outlook having executed on the ground in the US alongside a couple of successful exits.

  • Dale LOVELL

    SVP ADVERTISING, OPENWEB

    Dale Lovell is a business leader and start-up veteran with a 20+ year career working at the digital intersection of advertising, publishing, marketing and technology.

    Dale’s career started as a journalist and editor at successful digital publishing start-ups, before launching his own digital businesses.

    As co-founder of Adyoulike, a digital advertising Supply Side Platform (SSP), Dale was part of the leadership team that grew the business into a global brand with a multi-million-dollar annual turnover.

    Adyoulike was acquired by US based tech unicorn OpenWeb in April 2022 for $100M. Dale currently works with OpenWeb’s key advertisers globally as SVP Advertising Partner Success.

    He is also the author of Native Advertising: The Essential Guide, published by Kogan Page.

  • Nina GOSWAMI

    HEAD OF INCLUSION, CLIFFORD CHANCE

    Nina Goswami leads the UK inclusion team. She is responsible for developing and implementing Clifford Chance's inclusion policies and campaigns within the London and Newcastle offices.

    Before Clifford Chance, Nina was the BBC's Creative Diversity Lead and headed up 50:50 The Equality Project.

    The multi-award-winning initiative uses data monitoring to ensure media content better reflects society. It is the biggest ever collective action on increasing women’s representation in BBC content.

    Nina also worked as a journalist. She was a reporter for national newspapers and The Lawyer magazine prior to working at the BBC, where her roles included TV News Editor.

  • Aneta JAJKOWSKA

    Sr DIRECTOR, People and Organisational Partner, EuroNorth DASSAULT SYSTEMES

    Aneta joined Dassault Systémes in 2017 to head up the People & Organisation function for Nothern Europe. She is part of GEO Executive Committee as well as the 3DS People Leadership Team.

    The key focus of Aneta’s role is to drive People & Organisation strategy designed to deliver sustainable business growth through innovative and value driven solutions, placing people at the heart of our purpose.

    In her professional career, Aneta worked in key business partner roles with an international remit for companies like Colt Technology, Microsoft and Unilever. She is a career coach and completed University of Cambridge Business Sustainability Management Course with distinction.

    Aneta is passionate about positive change and exploring new frontiers in business and personal life.

    Aneta lives in London with her partner.
