Closing the gap

Funding Female Founders

Wed.17th April 2024 - French Residence

On April 17th we hosted the 2nd Women and Diverse Founders in Tech event at the prestigious French Embassy.

We welcomed a full house of 120 guests, witnessing the buzzing energy of Founders, Investors, Policy Makers and Senior Executives.

This event tackled the pressing issue of funding for female and diverse founders in the tech ecosystem. Despite progress, the landscape remains discriminatory, hindering the growth and scaling opportunities for women-led startups and more widely diverse founders.

Recent data underscores the persistent funding gap, highlighting the urgent need for action.

Our event featured a fireside chat between Anne Ravanona and Mathilde Bacholle followed by an insightful panel discussion between : Hasna Kourda, Debbie Wosskow OBE, Caroline ENGLISH, Emmanuelle Bury-Lucas and Valerie Kenyon.
