Morgane CONSTANTY

At the intersection of UX, marketing and pioneering tech

Morgane leads the UX Research team for Alexa Text-to Speech. Her team works with product and marketing managers, engineers & scientists to build and launch voice experiences for Alexa and Polly (AWS) globally. Morgane also leads User Experience for the Alexa Celebrity Voice program - in the US you can say 'Hey Samuel' and have a Samuel L. Jackson persona reply to you!

Her expertise includes Voice User Interface, Graphic User Interface, Monetization, Product-Market Fit, 0-1 product launches, Marketing, Creative Editorials & Voice of the Customer automated metrics.

In her previous Amazon role, she was advising country & SVP-level leaders on the UX for Kindle, Prime & e-commerce verticals in EU & Asia.

Prior to moving to UX & customer journeys at Amazon in 2016, Morgane worked in marketing for 10+ years.

She also founded an insights consultancy in HongKong, which advised Western brands on how to adapt to the Japan & Korean customer. Morgane is French but also a world citizen, with 35 years living as an expat across 4 continents.

Robert MOLLEN

Counsel at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson (London) LLP

Robert is a US-qualified corporate lawyer based in London. Bob regularly advises technology companies in connection with securing early stage finance, their establishment and expansion of US operations and other internationalization, startup-corporate collaboration issues, and other matters.

He mentors on these subjects at over 20 accelerators in London, continental Europe and Israel (including Techstars, Innovate UK Edge and MassChallenge), and has written more than 90 blogs for startups and scale-ups on these topics.

Bob is particularly passionate about healthtech. He co-leads the Healthtech working group of Tech London Advocates, is active in EIT Health (including its investment and acceleration programs), and works with a number of healthtech accelerators, including the NHS Innovation Accelerator, KQ Labs and cLAB.

Jim COOK

Co-Founder – Nymbl Science

Jim is a seasoned executive experienced and knowledgeable about getting an idea into a product and on to markets, startup growth strategies, managing investors, and international business development.

Jim co-founded Nymbl Science as CEO then Chairman.

Nymbl is a smartphone-based system incorporating physical plus cognitive training to improve balance and prevent falls in elder adults. Nymbl is currently used by tens of thousands of seniors globally.

Jim led Nymbl through company formation, initial product concept, product development/launch, and multiple rounds of funding in UK & US.

He also participated in accelerator programs both as startup and mentor. Additional executive positions:

Franck DESSENIS

Senior exec. scaling-up innovative ventures

Franck is a VP at ARRIVAL, and works on building a very exciting new generation of EV.

Ex Airbus VP of the H160 Program.

After a sabbatical from Airbus to support his wife's career, Franck relocated in 2020 to London just in time for Brexit and Covid-19 lock-down(s).

In June 2021 Franck joined ARRIVAL which creates electric vehicles that elevate the everyday, empower local communities and unlock true sustainability. He is now the VP of the Bus Platform.

After 25 years in Europe and North America, leading and scaling-up innovative programs, operations & services in diverse environments or industries (in particular Aerospace with 15 years at Airbus), Franck is sharing its time between startup founders mentoring (Starburst Aerospace), advisory boards and opening-up to new technologies / new business with a focus on AI, VR / AR and electric mobility. 

Avid runner, wannabe triathlete, starved from his passion for steep-skiing, your best chance to meet Franck is during a run in the Hampstead Heath.

Alyssa TISNÉ

Alyssa is comfortable in a B2C or B2B business, with particular enthusiasm for early stage start-ups.

Juliette SOULIMAN

VC Investor at MMC Ventures | Forbes 30u30

Juliette is an early-stage VC investor at MMC ventures – a $500m AUM fund investing from £100k to £25m in pre-seed, seed and Series A start-ups.

She mainly looks at start-ups in the deep tech and fintech space and specialised in b2b value propositions.

Juliette is also involved with several MMC portfolio companies and assist with early commercialisation, go to market, as well as ongoing fundraising strategy.

Prior to joining MMC, Juliette was Chief Commercial Officer and General Partner at a fintech fund investing in income sharing agreement of professional athletes and a former fintech VC investor at Octopus Ventures.

Juliette is an active business angel and mentor in several tech incubators where she advocate for diversity and inclusion in tech and VC.

She was named one of the ten most trailblazing female VCs in London by Business Insider and made the Forbes ‘30 under 30’ list.

Julien KERVELLA

Senior Director at Samsung

Hello, I am julien, in charge of advanced planning for Samsung Mobile worldwide. I help design the next products and services by researching consumer behaviors, creating experience strategies, and improving business models.

Throughout my tenure at Samsung, I have been involved in corporate strategy, development, operational audits, org. design and finally marketing, spending time in Asia, Latin America, and Africa.

I also set up an advisory (mentor) board for Samsung Europe, having the pleasure to work with ex-CEOs of large companies, such as BCG, Giff-Gaff, Portugal Telecom, and Sky.

Prior to Samsung, I spent 6 years developing a P&L for an IT consulting in Paris. My main clients were French Telecom operators. During my time in Asia, I set up a company in Hong-Kong, providing marketing services to European companies willing to attract east Asian consumers.

I hold an MBA from an Ivy League School, a M.Eng in Telecom from the French Grandes Ecoles, and a M.Sc in Fundamental Physics.

Matthieu RUATTI

I am an explorer, the father of 2 “French from abroad” & a hands-on tech VC investor with an operational background. I am particularly involved in startups sourcing, venture building & portfolio value creation, with a focus on digital solutions, medtech & "tech for good" initiatives.

Now in London, I bring with me 17 years of international experience (half between Europe & the US, half from the Gulf):

• 9 years as an investment director & as an entrepreneur / startup advisor

• 8 operational years in disruptive business development & then leading a business unit, in the medical devices industry.

I am also one of the French foreign trade advisors (CCE) here in the UK, & in charge of our SMEs / startups mentoring.
